The concert music was selected in recognition of the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence.\n\nKnown for performing in a wide range of musical styles\, the chorus has chosen music from the Revolutionary War period to contemporary times\, from composers including Aaron Copland\, Stephen Foster\, Garth Brooks as well as traditional folk and patriotic music with lyrics in English\, Spanish and Navajo. The chorus will be joined by guest musicians Kristin Wishon\, Flute\, Piccolo; Tim Berthelsen\, Violin\, Fiddle; Diane Ericson\, Percussion and Allen Barber\, Tenor.\n\n\nThe concert will feature Tillamook pianist\, Blake Poblador\, in a performance of L’Union\, written during the American Civil War by composer and pianist\, Louis Moreau Gottschalk.\n\nThere is no charge to attend.
