DESCRIPTION:Press Release \nFor immediate release  \nJuly 7th\, 2026 \nContact: \ninfo@netartsbaywebs.org\n \nFRIENDS OF NETARTS BAY – WEBS\, HOSTS  \nTHREE TIDEPOOL DISCOVERY DAYS IN THE MONTH OF JULY \n\nJoin us on the beach for some great low tides this July\, perfect for exploring and discovering the amazing creatures lurking at the water’s edge.  Choose one day – or all three – on the beautiful beaches in Oceanside. \n\nThis is a wonderful opportunity to connect with the local community\, friends\, and family as you enjoy the beauty of Oceanside’s amazing tidepools.  We hope to see you on the beach July 14\, 15th and 16th.. \n\nFriends of Netarts Bay WEBS staff\, Oregon State Park Rangers\, and volunteers will be on-site in the tidepools to share about the habitats along the coastal edge. Learn about the anemone clone wars\, how a sea star eats\, or how hermit crabs find their shelled homes. From seaweeds to sculpin fish\, there is an amazing world to discover!  \n\nDetails: Wear boots or bring a change of shoes.  DO NOT WEAR flip-flops (they are never ideal for exploring tide pools).  Be prepared for Oregon Coast weather. \n\nThis program involves walking on slippery and uneven surfaces\, including rocks that may be covered in water\, seaweed\, and barnacles. We understand everyone learns and experiences the outdoors differently\, and we strive to support everyone who is interested in attending our events! SUMMARY:Tillamook Main Library Storytime: Preschool
DESCRIPTION:Preschool storytime (PS) on Wed @ 10; developmentally appropriate for 3-5 yos; music\, stories\, interactive play and lots of laughs! In this class little begin to learn about a leader at the front of the room\, how to hold their wiggles\, listening and sitting still. When a child is transitioning from TT to PS my expectation is that they will sit for 5-10 minutes and then they might go play. I do not force them to sit still if they are not ready to. \nA couple of things about the children’s room that might set you at ease: \n\nThere is no expectation that it will be a quiet zone; kids are kids and they are allowed to act like themselves in the children’s room.\nOnly 2 hard and fast rules: No Running & No Screaming.\nIf your child needs a snack\, feed them!
