In this class little begin to learn about a leader at the front of the room\, how to hold their wiggles\, listening and sitting still. When a child is transitioning from TT to PS my expectation is that they will sit for 5-10 minutes and then they might go play. I do not force them to sit still if they are not ready to. \nA couple of things about the children’s room that might set you at ease: \n\nThere is no expectation that it will be a quiet zone; kids are kids and they are allowed to act like themselves in the children’s room.\nOnly 2 hard and fast rules: No Running & No Screaming.\nIf your child needs a snack\, feed them!

Learn about the anemone clone wars\, how a sea star eats\, or how hermit crabs find their shelled homes. From seaweeds to sculpin fish\, there is an amazing world to discover!  \nDetails: Wear boots or bring a change of shoes.  DO NOT WEAR flip-flops (they are never ideal for exploring tide pools).  Be prepared for Oregon Coast weather. \nThis program involves walking on slippery and uneven surfaces\, including rocks that may be covered in water\, seaweed\, and barnacles. Learn about the anemone clone wars\, how a sea star eats\, or how hermit crabs find their shelled homes. From seaweeds to sculpin fish\, there is an amazing world to discover!  \nDetails: Wear boots or bring a change of shoes.  DO NOT WEAR flip-flops (they are never ideal for exploring tide pools).  Be prepared for Oregon Coast weather. \nThis program involves walking on slippery and uneven surfaces\, including rocks that may be covered in water\, seaweed\, and barnacles.
