Nourish Body & Soul

Volunteer Adventures are good for your soul and good for the land. Renew your sense of purpose and become part of our community while learning more about the people and organizations that care for our natural spaces.

Connect with Nature

Breathe in the ocean air. Feel the land beneath your boots. Gaze in wonder at nearby mountains. Experience nature up close, and return from your Volunteer Adventure appreciating the Tillamook Coast in a new way. Create a legacy that will preserve and protect coastal beauty for others to enjoy for years to come.

“Our time was a beautiful mix of work and fun, sweating and relaxing, learning and laughing. We experienced the Tillamook Coast in a way we never would have if Dan and the Tillamook Coast Visitors Association hadn’t hosted us. And, at the same time, hopefully, we left it better than we found it.”

What Are Volunteer Adventures?

We are building a culture of thoughtful stewards and there’s never been a more rewarding time to give back. Each adventure features a portion of service and an educational activity, each designed to give you a greater appreciation of the Tillamook Coast.

Bring your school, corporate, church, community or family group to help care for natural areas in beautiful and diverse locations all along the Tillamook Coast. Learn about history, culture and conservation, and have fun doing it!

We can design your adventure to fit your groups’ needs, featuring itineraries of one to two and a half days. Meals, transportation, lodging and activities are included.

Crews typically consist of 8-15 volunteers, as well as a TCVA staff member. Volunteer Vacations involve a variety of outdoor physical activity. Tools and supervision are provided by the host agency or organization.

“We had such a good time during the weekend, it really was an all-time highlight for me in my time with the Girl Scouts. My daughter really enjoyed it too and said she would love to come back.”
