I was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, spending most of my life in Oregon.  My experience with clay began in high school and continued on to the University of Oregon where I earned a BFA in ceramics in 2003.  I have been teaching and selling my work professionally for the past 17 years.  I currently work out of my studio/gallery in downtown TIllamook, and have the encouragement and support of a loving husband, two doggy mutts and one crazy cat.

In 1942, the U.S. Navy began construction of 17 wooden hangars to house K-class airships that would be used for anti-submarine patrol and convoy escort. Two of these hangars were built at Naval Air Station Tilllamook, which was commissioned in December 1942 to serve the Oregon-Washington-California coastal areas.
