Quilts and quilting have been part of Tillamook County since the early pioneers first made their way across the mountains to the Oregon Coast. You’ll find colorful wooden quilt blocks mounted on barns and businesses throughout the county. There are more than 90—see if you can find them all!

About the Trails

The Original Pioneer Quilts Trail is a self-guided tour of the quilt blocks that started the trail, most of which are mounted on barns at Tillamook area farms.

The Tillamook County Quilt Trail “Walk Our Blocks” is another self-guided tour, giving your group or family a comfortable and leisurely walk around downtown Tillamook.

The Around the County Quilt Trail is a self-guided tour leading you on a comfortable and leisurely drive around both the Tillamook area and the county to view the many quilt blocks.
