Presented by the Rockaway Beach Chamber of Commerce, the Rockaway Beach 4th of July Celebration is one of the Oregon Coast’s most beloved Independence Day traditions. Visitors and locals gather for a full day of patriotic fun, community events, and family-friendly activities, all set against the backdrop of seven miles of sandy shoreline.
The festivities begin with the annual Fourth of July Parade at 11 a.m. through downtown Rockaway Beach. Throughout the day, enjoy community celebrations, beach activities, local shopping, and one of the coast’s most entertaining traditions—the Annual Firecracker Wiener Nationals. As evening falls, gather along the shoreline for a spectacular fireworks show at Ocean’s Edge, beginning at dusk (approximately 10 p.m.).
