Since its start in 1997, Tillamook County residents have enjoyed a public transportation agency that provides passenger bus and dial-a-ride services countywide, as well as to Cannon Beach and Portland. TCTD also offers intercity bus service to Portland with regional connections. TCTD services are primarily supported by rider fares, state and federal grants, and a local permanent property tax levy with timber revenue sharing.
