Investing in community and business
When Tillamook County voters approved a lodging tax in November 2013, the county commissioners made a commitment to citizens the revenues would be used to enhance the community. That promise has been kept. Since early 2015, more than $10 million of lodging tax revenues collected by the county has funded dozens of tourism-related facilities projects. In addition, Tillamook Coast Visitors Association has funded more than $1 million in marketing grants to nonprofits and businesses.
