Bike Rodeo/Adopt-a-Bike

The bike rodeo is a FREE event that teaches children K-8 bike safety and provides a fun and interactive experience to practice by handling skills. Activities include bike and helmet, fittings, obstacle courses, safety, demonstrations, and prize drawings. Bicycles will be available or can be brought from home. There will also be a bike tune-up station, and booth with information about bike trails and other outdoor events and opportunities happening around the county.

Tillamook County Wellness is partnering with WashCo Bikes to provide free refurbished bicycles to children and adults in need. For more information and to apply for a bike, email Mari Tasche at tasche@ohsu.edu. Applications must be submitted by April 17th.
