We locals think our county campgrounds are the best on the Oregon Coast. In fact, locals often camp at these parks for a week at time with family and friends. Book a reservation.

Barview Jetty County Campground

Explore seven miles of sandy beach, tidal areas, forest, and sand dunes. Indulge in surf jetty fishing, scuba diving, surfing, sightseeing, birdwatching, trail walking and more. Amenities include restrooms, multiple showers, playground, community shelter, six cabins, three mini mobile cabins, 73 full hook-up RV sites and 266 tent sites, plus a new group event space.

Located two miles south of Rockaway Beach and two miles north of Garibaldi, with access from Hwy. 101, this 160-acre campground is bordered directly alongside the north jetty of Tillamook Bay and the stunning Pacific Ocean.

Trask River County Campground

Located in a stunning old-growth forest, this is a great campground for families looking to unplug and get away from it all. Explore trails, wander the riverbanks, view wildlife up-close, and get back to basics in nature. Indulge in fishing, swimming, crawfishing, rockhounding, and perhaps berry picking. Amenities include vault toilets, horseshoe pits, and open spaces.

Located 12 miles east of Tillamook on a remote country road, Trask River County Campground is located along the confluence of the South Fork Trask, North Fork Trask, and Trask Rivers. Offers 102 RV/tent sites (dry camping only), two group camping sites, and one group day-use site.

Kilchis Campground River

Kilchis River County Campground

Located at the very end of Kilchis River Road, this 1,110-acre campground is nestled in a beautiful river valley alongside the crystal-clear waters of the Kilchis River. Explore trails that wind under massive old-growth trees, wander along or swim in the Kilchis River, and experience what it means to camp in a temperate rainforest. Indulge in fishing, drift-boating (winter and spring only), kayaking and canoeing, swimming, crawfishing, and trail and nature walking.

Amenities include restrooms, showers, playground, horseshoe pits, basketball hoop, and a seasonal boat launch. Enjoy 41 RV/tent sites (dry camping only) and two group day-use sites. Numerous day-use areas are located along the river.

Webb County Campground

Located directly across from Cape Kiwanda in the beach town of Pacific City, this smaller vintage campground has been loved by campers for generations. Explore sandy beaches and coastal views, climb to the top of Cape Kiwanda, and watch the Pacific dory-fleet launch and land or the sun set over the Pacific Ocean. Indulge in surfing, hiking, beachcombing, ocean kayaking, surf-fishing, fat-tire bicycling, and beachfront s’mores, and relax into the beach lifestyle. Amenities include restrooms and multiple showers, six partial hook-up RV sites and 29 tent sites.

Whalen County Campground

Just a small drive north of Pacific City is Tillamook County’s best kept secret. Whalen Island County Campground is accessed via bridge from Sandlake Road and is completely surrounded by the Sandlake estuary. Explore trails and beaches, view wildlife, wander the island interior, and spend a bit of time in a very special place. Indulge in estuary fishing, crabbing, kayaking, canoeing, hiking, birdwatching, clamming, stargazing, and stories by the fire.

Amenities include restrooms, summertime trolley into Pacific City, and direct access to Clay Meyers State Natural Area. 35 RV/tent sites (dry camping only).

Woods County Campground

Located directly on the south bank of the Nestucca River in Pacific City, Woods County Campground is just a short drive from local beaches and other amenities. Take advantage of bank fishing and river access via foot. Restrooms, four full hook-up RV sites and seven smaller tent sites.
