Built in 1912, this building operated as Hotel Elmore, an “excursion hotel,” for 21 years. It has seen life as a nursing home, pizza parlor and motel, and more. Today it is a premium boutique cannabis dispensary.

Honoring policing from before the 1829 Metropolitan Police Act in England through the modern era of law enforcement, this extensive collection of artifacts is a visual chronicle of the tools and work of police officers. See advances made in uniforms, training, evidence collection, personal protection, and historic items, such as the 1866 Oregon Boot restraint, 1925 tear gas baton, and the 1950s Identakit for creating facial images. Try on a Bobbie helmet, bulletproof vest and taking sample fingerprints.

James Du Bois has been collecting samples of Oregon rain since 1999, and specifically in Tillamook County since 2003. With hundreds of bottles of Oregon rain labeled with the dates the rain fell, James Du Bois and his wife Cathleen (Cat Freshwater) DuBois use the rain to make Oregon Du Drops. Each Oregon Du Drop is sparkling Oregon rain suspended within the shimmering glass of a recycled light bulbs, and hung from solid brass temple bells from India. Customers can shop their store and purchase one that is special to them.
