Tillamook Quilt Trail
Take the self-guided auto tour
Tillamook County, with the help of many, was able to obtain grants to get the Tillamook Quilt Trail started on the Tillamook Coast. Now 104 wooden blocks are displayed along a self-guided auto tour route.

The Trail is covered in two books
The Tillamook Quilt Trail, the first of its kind on the entire West Coast, has generated interest as far away as North Carolina and has been listed in the book Barn Quilts and the American Quilt Trail Movement by Suzi Parron and Donna Sue Groves. It is also mentioned in the book Barn Block Quilt Traditions: Exploring the American Quilt Trail with 55 Blocks and 20 Quilts by Janet Wickell.
Quilt Blocks are mounted on Buildings around Tillamook
When you arrive for your visit, look for the quilt blocks mounted on buildings owned by interested citizens and businesses within the city. The Tillamook Quilt Trail has added interest to the city, and many come to the area specifically to see the quilt blocks.
Can you find all of the quilt blocks? Come find out!
